Surface Water Sources (Current)
The Water Corporation owns and operates a series of surface water sources (dams) in higher rainfall areas to the East and South-East of Perth.
Currently, these sources supply approximately 27% of Perth's drinking water, as well as providing water to the Goldfields and Agricultural Region via the CY O'Connor pipeline. In addition, some Water Corporation dams to the south of Perth supply towns in the South-West and Great Southern regions.
